Hi, I'm Ridgy Didge and I'd like to welcome you to the home of the Kellyville Ridge Cricket Club.
Kellyville Ridge Cricket Club was established in 2007 by Rodney Yendle with the help of its major sponsor, The Ettamogah Pub.
In 2008/09 Ridgy's Cricket Club fielded 2 teams in the Under 10s, Under 12s, Under 16s grades as well as 2nd and 9th Grades Seniors, with 3 of these teams winning their competitions and 1 team coming runners up.
In 2010/11 we fielded 6 Junior teams 3 of which made the semis. Our Under 10-1 Blue side were undefeated Premiers and the 4th time consecutive time we have won the 10-1's. We had 5 Senior teams all of whom made the semis. Our 8th Grade side went on to win their Grand Final and 3rd Grade were Runners Up.
Ridgy's also run a program called "in2 Cricket" in the last term of the school holidays each year. in2Cricket is modified cricket for the littlies aged between 5 - 8 years, which is proving a huge success. In our first season we had 46 boys and girls participating in the program. Last season we had over 90 children participate. This program is designed to help improve hand eye co-ordination before entering into competition but more than that, to have loads of fun and meet new people within your local community
